China’s BYD Launches Electric Refuse Truck in the U.S.

BYD Motors, the U.S division of the Chinese automaker BYD Co Ltd, launched a new fully-electric refuse truck in U.S on Thursday. The new truck was manufactured in collaboration with Wayne Engineering, a US-based waste management equipment company.

China's electric car manufacturer BYD Auto Co on Friday unveiled 51 new single-decker electric buses in London. The company claims that these buses are Europe's biggest all-electric bus fleet till date, which would help London to curb its CO2 emissions.
