China to Invest More in Malaysia

Chinese companies were not held back by the slow progress of the country's economy as it plans to pour in more investment to Malaysia this year. According to local media and officials, many Chinese companies are going out under the Belt and Road Initiative programs.

Despite the issues surrounding the missing Malaysian Airline MH370 flight that has, in a way, tainted the diplomatic relationships of China and Malaysia, the two countries signed an agreement to boost trade to US $160 billion in 2017.
