China's CRRC Plans to Build Maglev Train with Speed of 600Kph

China Railway Rolling Stock Corp. Ltd. (CRRC) announced that it will start researching and developing a magnetic levitation (maglev) train that could run as fast as 600 kph, the fastest among any other maglev trains in operation today.

China's biggest high-speed train manufacturer China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation Ltd. (CRRC) revealed on Saturday that its first $63.4 million joint venture plant in India, which would be used to make and repair railway locomotive engines, has started operating in Baval District, Haryana.
CSR Sifang America Wins Bid to Supply Chicago's Railcars

CSR Sifang America, a subsidiary of China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC), has been granted a $1.3 billion order to supply more than 800 railcars to the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), the largest Midwest train order recorded ever in the history.
