South Korea’s K-League Classic is reportedly feeling the effects of the huge Chinese football investment happening right now around the world as more and more of its players and managers are being lured in China, particularly in the country’s first tier association football competitions, the Chinese Super League.

Former FC Seoul head coach Choi Yong-soo became the latest South Korean bench tactician to move to China after he accepted the managerial offer from Chinese Super League powerhouse Jiangsu Suning FC, recent reports said.

Choi Yong-soo has become the latest addition to the growing number of South Korean coaches making a switch to the Chinese Super League after reaching an agreement to a two-and-a-half year deal to transfer from FC Seoul to Jiangsu Suning, the Suning Appliance Group-owned football club said on their website on Tuesday.
