Here is the latest for the Doctor Who fans (commonly known as Whovians). Professor River Song (Alex Kingston) is coming back to the show for the Christmas special . The doctor and his wife had a twisted relationship in terms of timelines. River and the Doctor crossed paths but River's life went in reverse. The first time we saw her was with the tenth doctor played by David Tenant, who had absolutely no idea who River was, while she knew all about him. She then died in the same meeting to help the Doctor escape. She connected herself to a computer network and dissipated into data.
