The Washington Redskins, who currently play in Landover, Maryland on the FedEx Field, wants a new facility. Their isn't much available land in Washington, but their former home where the RFK Stadium is, is one of their potential landing spots. They would have to face a political battle from Sallly Jewell, who won't grant the Redskins a lease unless they change their name.

The controversy surrounding the monicker of the Washington Redskins continued to gain momentum on Tuesday as two leading NFL TV game announcers vowed not to refer to the team's long-time name which many consider an offensive slur to Native Americans.
