Social payment app Circle recently announced that it will no longer allow its users to buy or sell bitcoin on its platform. Circle said that the digital currency did failed to integrate itself into the app's core business.

Circle Internet Financial Ltd. has announced that it has already raised raised $60 million in new funding from China-based investors. The company also unveiled a dedicated domestic subsidiary, Circle China.
Ecuador is on Track to Create its Own Digital Currency

Ecuador is on track to be the first country to have its own digital currency. Distribution of the currency is aimed for December of this year.
