A suspected horse thief becomes USD $650,000 richer, after the San Bernardino County in California agreed to pay him in what legal experts say was a rare out of court settlement.

New information has surfaced about the situation involving high school student Montre Merritt being forced to the ground at gunpoint for simply not wearing his seatbelt. It appears Merritt has now filed a lawsuit this week against the Waycross Police Department.
