A gentle sea cow known as the manatee has recently been making some buzz after it was seen swimming north and just kept going. According to ABC 2, the large and slow-moving marine mammal was found swimming about in St. George Creek, a Potomac River tributary near Waldorf, Maryland.

On Wednesday, a newly discovered dinosaur named Wendiceratops pinhornensis was unveiled in an report published in the PLOS ONE journal. According to the new study, the 79-million-year-old bones of four pickup truck-sized horned dinosaurs have been excavated in Alberta, Canada, which is considered as a hotbed of newly discovered ceratopsian dinosaurs. The fossils were discovered in 2011 by renowned fossil hunter Wendy Sloboda.

Scientists have recently documented a shocking discovery. In a study published in the journal Nature, a particular species of lizard known as the Australian bearded dragons are found to exhibit sex reversal in the wild. A team of researchers from the University of Canberra have determined that sex chromosomes are not always the determinants of a reptile’s gender. They also observed that at high temperatures, bearded dragons in the wild that have male chromosomes, exhibited outwardly female characteristics.
