Florida Adds to 34 States Where Same-Sex Marriage Is Allowed

Gay couples have one more state to go to get married after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected on Friday a request to ban same-sex marriages in that state. Members of the LGBT community have Justice Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas to thank for granting the motion.

New Vatican Document Calls For A Less Judgmental View of Gays And Lesbians

In a Church document released ahead of a Synod of Bishops to be held in Rome in October, the Vatican said Thursday that the Church must be less judgmental towards gays and lesbians, emphasizing that children of gay unions should be received with equal dignity.
