Geely and Volvo Announce Joint Car Plant

Swedish carmaker Volvo and Chinese auto company Geely have unveiled their jointly-owned plant in Taizhou. The plant will be operated by Volvo. It will be used for producing compact cars using the Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform.

China's Zhejiang Geely Holding Group is now the primary sponsor of the Bloodhound 1,000mph supersonic racing car project. The Chinese company has become the official automotive partner in a 3-year agreement.
