After a long fought battle over ownership of S. Kidman and Co. Ltd, Australian billionaire Gina Rinehart, and her Chinese business associate were on Friday given the go ahead by the Australian government to purchase the farm.

Chinese developer Shanghai CRED joined hands with Australia's richest woman Gina Rinehart to jointly acquire S. Kidman and Co, the largest private land holding in Australia.
