Amidst an ongoing crackdown on corrupt officials in China, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) have partnered with CCTV in the production of a documentary series entitled "To Forge Iron, The Metal Itself Must Be Strong" with its first episode being aired on Tuesday.

Former Deputy of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), Xia Xinghua, has been expelled from the Communist party of China over graft and indiscipline charges, according to a statement issued out by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the communist party on Tuesday.
