Hong Kong Ranks Third in the Latest World Bank Report

The World Bank 2015 "Ease of Doing Business" report ranked China's Hong Kong third among 189 countries. The countries are ranked according to six indicators; starting a business, dealing with construction permits, getting electricity, getting credit, protecting minority investors, paying taxes, registering property, trading across borders, enforcing contracts, and resolving insolvency.

Hong Kong's plan to limit the number of tourists from mainland China is expected to hurt retailers in the city, with experts estimating that the proposal could cut US$3.2 billion in retail sales.
