Bomb Threat Causes Evacuation of American Airlines Plane at JFK Airport

An American Airlines jet from Barcelona made an emergency landing at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Sunday noon because of a bomb threat. The 200 passengers and 9 crew members from Flight 67 were evacuated, but after two hours of search by four sniffing dogs, no bomb was found.

The John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport in New York City has started on Saturday its screening on passengers from Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone as part of its preventive measures in the possible entry of Ebola through the airport.
