Despite China Ban, 2,000 Tibet Buddhists from China Joined Kalachakra

Despite an early warning by the Chinese government not to participate in the 34th "Kalachakra" initiation, which is currently ongoing in Bodh Gaya, India, and is set to end on Saturday, the Tibetan Buddhist community has remained undeterred in the participation of the event either in India or back in China.

Tibetan disciples were barred by the Chinese government from attending "Kalachakra", a Buddhist event that will be attended by the exiled Buddhist leader, the Dalai Lama, in Bodh Gaya, India.
