'Star Citizen' Developer Cloud Imperium Switches to Amazon’s Lumberyard Engine

Video game developer Cloud Imperium confirmed on Monday that it is ditching Crytek's CryEngine for Amazon's Lumberyard engine on its upcoming Alpha 2.6 release of "Star Citizen."

It might sound like the beginning of a bad joke, but tech company Amazon has added a zombie apocalypse clause to its terms of service. The updated terms of service covers the company's new game-development software called Lumberyard.
