Chinese Lunar Probe Busts Theory That Water is Present on the Moon

Putting to rest claims of water being present on the moon, China's first lunar probe Chang'e 3, named after the goddess of the moon in Chinese, has revealed data confirming for the first time that there is no water on the moon.

China is set to make another major leap in space exploration following an announcement that the country will land its first ever probe on the dark side of the moon in 2018. China's State of Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense revealed on Thursday the country will send the Chang'e-4 probe to the moon in two years.

Wu Weiren, the chief engineer for China's Lunar Exploration stated that the country has plans for Chang'e 4 probe to makes its descent on the moon's 'dark side', according to an interview with Chinese Central Television.
