Milky Way Has a Massive Quasar Storm at 2 Million Miles An Hour

Bright Black Holes Spotted In A Distant Nebula

Four active black holes were recently discovered in a distant gas cloud (which are known as quasars), and were clustered in a nebula which is distanced at almost 10 billion light years from the surface of Earth.

This graphic shows how NASA's Hubble Space Telescope probed the light from a distant quasar to analyze the so-called Fermi Bubbles, two lobes of material being blown out of the core of our Milky Way galaxy.

Massive Quasar Storm in Milky Way Explodes at 2 Million Miles an Hour

Astronomers have discovered a massive storm in the form of bubbles in the central Milky Way that possess gas clouds that travel at 2 million miles per hour.
