NHTSA Launches Investigation on Alleged Jaguar Land Rover Vehicle Rollaway

The United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation regarding alleged rollaway incidents involving certain Jaguar Land Rover vehicles. The vehicles under investigation are the 2013 Jaguar XF and the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque with model years from 2012 up to 2014.

The United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration passed a new rule on Monday that requires new hybrid and electric cars to make noise when they are travelling at low speeds. The new rule was passed in order for pedestrians, especially those with poor eyesight, to hear the cars that are coming.
