Hornets Coach Says They're A Better Team With Kidd-Gilchrist

Chalotte Hornets coach Steve Clifford says small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist deserves his big contract extension for making them play better. The Hornets gave Kidd-Gilchrist an extension worth $52 million over four years with a player option in Year four.

Andrea Bargnani will be playing for the Brooklyn Nets in the upcoming season.

The Brooklyn Nets have signed former No. 1 draft pick Andrea Bargnani to a two-year veterans minimum deal with a player option after one season. The Sacramento Kings, who were offering more money over the next two seasons, were closing in on a deal with Bargnani when the Nets swiped him away. However, Bargnani preferred the "fit" with the Nets.
