NBA Dunking Legend Darryl Dawkins Remembered As Entertaining Both Off And On The Court

CBS NBA analyst Jim Spanarkel who was teammates with the late Darryl Dawkins as a rookie with the Philadelphia 76ers in 1979-80 remembered the dunking legend as a reporters' delight for his entertaining postgame interviews. Dawkins, who died at 58 on Thursday due to heart attack, would often give shocking or entertaining statements that reporters would clog the passageway to the locker, that Spanarkel could barely go to it win or lose.
