The United States has warned China to stop sending secret agents to America to hunt and coerce renowned expatriates wanted in Beijing to return home at once.

China has sent a fresh batch of police liaison officers to 27 countries to arrest and bring home economic fugitives who have been hiding abroad after siphoning off large amounts of illicit money out of China.
