Portland Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts admitted he can't say now in August how the offense is going to look but didn't make it a secret they will to continue to shoot from 3-point range. This is true even with the loss of five of eight best 3-point shooters from last season, according to Rip City Project.

Portland Trail Blazers general manager Neil Olshey said they are not allowing rookie forward Pat Connaughton to indulge in professional baseball as he plays basketball for them, according to the NBA.com. Olshey revealed that in a conversation with Connaughton, they raised the point that playing for the NBA is not a part-time job. The GM said that the schedule for baseball is also the same time he should be working on his basketball.
