The Modern College of Northwest University not only banned its students from celebrating Christmas on Thursday, calling the Christian holiday "kitsch;" as an alternative activity, the university forced its students to watch a 3-hour propaganda movie.

A video released by al-Qaeda on Saturday undermines the Obama administration's drone memo in which the death of U.S. citizen Anwar al-Awlaki in Yemen was justified due to U.S. intelligence believing him to be responsible for attempted terrorist attacks against the US. The video instead gives credit to former Guantanamo Bay detainee Said al-Shihri.
