China Seeks Private Investment to Develop Disputed Islands in the South China Sea

Amid protests from claimant-countries, China has announced plans of developing the islands it controls in the disputed waters of the South China Sea by inviting investors to pour money into Sansha city and other islands which are part of the disputed Paracel islands.
