China to Construct Nuclear Power Stations on Disputed South China Sea Islands: State Media

China has announced plans to construct nuclear power stations on the disputed islands of the South China Sea with the aim of establishing "effective control" over the maritime region, according to state media.

The emergency drill on the sea is held near the Xisha Islands on July 14, 2016 in Sansha, Hainan Province of China. Nearly 300 armed police officers and soldiers took part in the Sansha marine emergency drill near Xisha Islands on Thursday.
