China is looking to live up to its word after it sent 120 peacekeepers on Sunday to the South Sudan, the youngest nation globally which has been faced with war since December 2013.

China's defense ministry has dismissed the allegation by a US-based group that Chinese peacekeepers abandoned their posts in South Sudan following the death of two Chinese soldiers earlier this year.

Chinese currency Yuan was recently included in coveted Special Drawing Rights (SDR) basket of IMF, making it a global currency.
