US Says Thailand is Out of RIMPAC 2014

The US Pacific Command said Wednesday that Thailand is being refused participation in the Rim of the Pacific 2014 war games, as a reaction to the continuing military rule launched during a coup in May. For the same reason, it may lose the opportunity to host another big multilateral exercise next year.
