Volkswagen to Recall Nearly 50,000 Imported Beetle, Golf Variant Units in China

Volkswagen will call back 49,480 vehicles in China starting Feb. 6 due to brake design defects, the country's quality watchdog announced on Tuesday.
Volkswagen Issues Recall of 281,500 Cars due to Fuel Leak; No Injury Reported

German auto manufacturer Volkswagen Group has recalled about 281,500 units of the Volkswagen Golf and Volkswagen Golf GTI hatchbacks with year models 2015 and 2016. Volkswagen is also recalling Golf SportWagen wagons, and luxury model Audi A3. The company said that the recall is due to a potential gas leak that was recently discovered.
