Yammie Nam was once a beautiful actress, who had a really promising career. Sadly, her life didn't play out as she planned. After her really notable performance on Adam Cheng's 1992 movie, The Greed of Man, the actress fell into depression which resulted in mental instability. Her distress stemmed from a series of unfortunate events, including witnessing two of her boyfriends commit suicide.

Former TVB actress Yammie Nam’s mental status reportedly worsened and it is speculated that she is suffering from a mental condition called paranoid schizophrenia.
