(Photo : YouTube) UMI is planning to unveil the Plus smartphone on Sept. 7.
Several smartphone manufacturers have launched their products at the 2016 IFA conference in Berlin, Germany. Chinese smartphone manufacturer UMI is also slated to unveil its newest creation, the UMI Plus at the tech conference.
UMI has already revealed the Max smartphone at the IFA conference. However, it appears that the smartphone manufacturer is not done yet, with the upcoming launch of the UMI Plus on the very last day of the conference.

Despite the attention that UMI received after revealing the Plus model, the hype was not sustained as the company did not reveal the specifications of the phone. UMI only released a handful of photos of the new Plus smartphone, according to Giz China.
Based on the photos, the UMI Plus looks similar to the UMI Max. At the bottom part of the UMI Plus is a USB Type-C port with two speakers on each side. On the top is the 3.5mm headphone jack.
The rear part of the UMI Plus shows a camera and a strip, most probably the phone's antenna. The photos also reveal how thin the UMI Plus is. Since no fingerprint scanner was seen on the rear part of the UMI Plus, several tech analysts believe that the sensor is integrated into the front panel Home button.
Judging by the pictures, the UMI Plus is most probably a premium device. It might even be UMI's next flagship phone.
