Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu has released a new pink variant of its Blue Charm 3S model. The new phone retains almost every aspect of its predecessor's design and specs, the only thing that is different is its color.

The new pink variant of the Blue Charm 3S is a fresh option for those who are looking into a new phone. Pink is not exactly a typical standard color option for most smartphone makers, and Meizu might be banking on the feminine market as pink is usually attributed to women.

The pink Meizu Blue Charm 3S has a 5-inch display with 720p resolution. The smartphone runs on a MediaTek MT6750 chipset with an octa-core processor. The device is available in two models depending on the memory and storage space combination. One model has 2GB of memory and 16GB of storage space, the other one has 3GB of memory and 32GB of storage space. Both models support storage expansion.

The Blue Charm 3S has a 13-megapixel rear facing camera, and 5-megapixel front facing selfie shooter.

The Meizu Blue Charm 3S runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, with the company's Flyme 5 OS custom interface. The phone has a 3020mAh battery pack, and a microUSB port for charging and transferring data. Despite its MediaTek chipset, the Charm 3S does not support any fast charging technology.

According to Giz China, the pink colored Meizu Blue Charm 3S would hit he market this week.
