Chinese tech giant Huawei has officially launched its latest devices - the Huawei Nova and Huawei Nova Plus smartphones - at IFA 2016 in Berlin, Germany.

The Huawei Nova and Nova Plus smartphone was introduced at IFA 2016 by the CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group Richard Yu. According to Yu, the company is aware of the different demands of today's generation. The Nova and Nova plus smartphones are the suited for a generation that live on their smartphones, Yu added.

The Huawei Nova and Nova Plus smartphones are the first two devices in the "Nova" series smartphones. These two devices feature 5-inch display screens along with ergonomic builds and curved surfaces. The smartphones are powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 3GB of RAM onboard. Both devices come with a native 32GB internal memory storage.

The Huawei Nova is fueled by a 3020 mAh capacity battery, while the Nova Plus has a 3340 mAh capacity battery inside. Interestingly, these smartphones are both equipped with Huawei's latest generation 3D fingerprint sensors. These devices are available in three colors: mystic silver, prestige gold, and titanium gray.

On the camera side, the Huawei Nova sports a 12-megapixels rear camera, while the Huawei Nova Plus comes with a 16-megapixels rear facing shooter. Both devices have an 8-megapixels front-facing selfie shooter. The cameras of both devices support the fast auto-focus feature, Beautiful Skin 3.0, and Beauty Makeup 2.0.

The Huawei Nova and Nova Plus are expected to be available in 50 international markets this October. The Nova is priced at €399 (approximately $448.68), while the Nova Plus would cost around €429 (roughly $482.41).
