Xiaomi Mi 5s Smartphone Receives TENAA Certification

An upcoming Xiaomi device dubbed as the Xiaomi Mi 5s smartphone has been certified by the China's telecommunication authority (TENAA). The new device features a massive 6 GB of RAM and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 processor.
As per the TENAA listing, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5s smartphone would feature a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display screen. The device is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with Adreno 530 graphics processing unit clocked at a speed of 650 MHz. This smartphone also comes with 6GB of RAM.

The listing revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 5s smartphone comes with a whopping 256GB internal memory storage. The smartphone boasts of a massive 3490 mAh capacity battery. The device is expected to sports a massive 16-megapixels primary camera with 4-axis OIS and would support 4K video recording at 30 frames per seconds. On the front is a 4-megapixels camera for selfies and video calls.
Interestingly, the Xiaomi Mi 5s is also equipped with 3D touch feature similar to the iPhone. This device would also support NFC technology and offer dual SIM functionalities.
The connectivity options of the device includes GPRS / EDGE, 3G, 4G, and VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. The device measures a body dimension of 144.55 mm x 69.2 mm x 7.25 mm and weighs 147 grams.
It is unclear when this device would hit the market.
