OPPO's highly anticipated flagship device - the OPPO Find 9 smartphone - could be released in summer 2017, according to analyst Pan Jiutang, who claims that the device is still under development.

The OPPO Find 9 smartphone was expected to be released sometime in June this year. However, that did not happen. Analyst Jiutang reported that the upcoming device comes features very powerful hardware. He added that the smartphone would feature the super-fast Super VOOC Fast Charging technology, which OPPO claims can charge a phone in just 15 minutes.

According to Mobipicker, the upcoming OPPO Find 9 smartphone features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display which supports 2K (2560 x 1440 pixels) display with 401 ppi pixels density. The device is expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6755 processor clocked at a speed of 1.9 Ghz paired with Mali T860 GPU. It comes equipped with 4GB of RAM.

The Find 9 comes with a native 64GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded up 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The device is expected to be shipped with the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box and fueled by a massive non-removable Li-Ion 4100mAh capacity battery. On the camera side, the device sports a 21-megapixels primary camera and an 8-megapixels front facing shooter.

Other features the device offers include 2G, 3G network support, USB, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Radio. The OPPO Find 9 is expected to be available in white and black color.
