Chinese-based company OPPO released its latest OPPO R9 Plus smartphone in Australia on July 4 for $699.

The R9 Plus can now be purchased via OPPO's online store and JB Hi-Fi, Ausdroid reported. Some of its features are ultrafast 0.2 second Touch Access and rapid VOOC flash charging.

According to Gizmodo, the R9 Plus comes with a stunning large 6-inch full high-definition AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a pixel density of 367ppi, and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It features 16-megapixel cameras both at the back and on the front with an aperture of f/2.0 and a wide angle of 78.1 degrees. It also has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card. It is packed with a big non-removable Li-polymer 4120 mAh battery to provide long battery life.

The R9 Plus is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 652 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.8 GHz. It runs on Android 5.1 operating system. It comes with a fingerprint scanner, OTD, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, proximity sensor, and Breath LED. Its dimensions are 163.1 x 80.78 x 7.4 millimeters with a weight of 185 grams. Its color options are gold and rose gold. Its connectivity options are Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB port, GPS/A-GPS, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n.
