Leaked Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro Screenshot Reveals 8GB Memory, Android 7 Nougat

A leaked specs screenshot believed to be that of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro is making the rounds in several tech websites.
The screenshot revealed some interesting specs of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note upgrade, including the anticipated 8GB of memory and Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is expected to unveil the Note 2 Pro, the larger of the two devices to be launched, within the coming weeks.
According to Giz China, the leaked screenshot, which was posted by a Weibo user using the handle @Kjum, also revealed that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro will sport a quad-core processor clocked at 2.6GHz. Xiaomi will also use its own MIUI 8 interface which will be embedded on top of the Android Nougat operating system.
It can be noted that the user is widely known in the tech community for leaking major smartphone information in the past.
Based on previous leaks, the smartphone is said to have a Snapdragon 821 chipset from Qualcomm. Storage options are expected to be a choice between 64GB or 128GB.
It was also speculated that it would support USB Type-C port, come with a fingerprint scanner, and a 3600mAh battery pack.
Xiaomi has already confirmed that the company will hold an event on Sept. 27 in Beijing. Although Xiaomi did not provide any comprehensive details about the upcoming event, many are expecting that the company will use it to stage the launch of two new flagship devices - the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro and Xiaomi Mi5s.
