The highly anticipated Vernee Mars is finally out in the market. The smartphone was officially launched on Sept. 20 at the Shenzhen conference in China.

Along with the official launch of the phone, Vernee's chief executive officer Mr. Jacky revealed the company's future plans, especially its goal for the international market.

The Vernee Mars is exclusively available in the Chinese market only at present. However, Vernee confirmed that global consumers should be able to place their pre-orders now if they are interested into getting their hands into the company's latest flagship device.

According to Giz China, the Vernee Mars is a premium smartphone packed with high-end specs and wrapped in a thin metal body made of No. 220 zircon which adds not only rigidity to the phone, but also a unique sense of aesthetics.

The Vernee Mars has a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution, which Vernee claims has the same technology with that of the iPhone 7. This means that the Mars' display will be crisp, vivid and will provide a better viewing angle compared to some of its predecessors. The phone also boasts an impressive 81 percent screen-to-body ration, thanks in part to the phone's almost non-existent 1mm bezels.

At the heart of the Vernee Mars is the MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 chipset. It has 4GB memory and 32GB storage space. The phone's rear camera is a Sony IMX258 with a 13-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper from Samsung.

Powering the device is a 3000mAh battery pack which also supports MediaTek's fast charging technology, while it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow mobile operating system.

The Vernee Mars, which costs $299, will be available for global presale until Oct. 7. For those who would like to avail of it at a more affordable price, Vernee is releasing 300 units of the Mars for only $199 to further promote the device.
