The presale period for Elephone C1 has officially started on Sept. 28 and it is expected to run until Oct. 15.

During the presale period, the phone will have a discounted price of $109.99. The phone will be available on Elephone's official website and other authorized third-party platforms.

The Elephone C1 presale has one catch, though. Third-party sellers can only sell the phone on a specific time, which is between 4PM to 5PM Beijing time. During this period, authorized sellers will release 10 units which will only cost $109.99. Once the stocks are out the price will revert back to $119.99.

According to Giz China, the Elephone C1 was designed to look like a premium piece of hardware, although a closer look at its specs can make anyone tell that its price justifies it as well. In terms of performance, the phone is well within the entry-level price point.

The device will reportedly feature a MediaTek MT6737 chipset with a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, a 5.5-inch screen with HD resolution, and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Elephone's own custom skin on top.

The phone also boasts of a fingerprint scanner on the back, 2GB memory and 16GB storage space which can be expanded to 64GB and supports dual-SIM configuration and 4G LTE network.

The Elephone C1, whose presale period may interest a lot of consumers, has a 13-megapixel rear camera and 2.0-megapixel front selfie shooter. It can be noted, however, that its 2850mAh battery pack, despite its MediaTek chipset, does not support any quick charging technology.
