(Photo : YouTube Screenshot) The UMi Max smartphone is now priced at $179.99 (around 1200.44 Yuan / Rs. 12,052.12) on GeekBuying.
When UMI released its Plus model, the company pretty much went straightforward with its specs. The phone is a decent piece of hardware with a very budget friendly price tag. Recently, UMI is working on marketing the device with one very interesting point: its battery.
UMI recently released the results of its battery stress test with the UMI Plus and the result is simply interesting.

During the call time stress test with 3G network on and the screen turned off, the UMI Plus scored an impressive 32 hours and 45 minutes of battery power, according to Giz CHina.
As for the phone's Internet browsing stress test using the Wi-Fi channel with screen brightness turned up a notch, the phone managed to last for about eight hours. A loop of video playback lasted for seven hours and 20 minutes, which should be fair to assume that the phone can last for a good two or three full-feature movies.
In terms of gaming, the UMI Plus, again with screen brightness up a bit, managed to stay on for six hours and 39 minutes, an impressive result for a mid-tiered smartphone.
Although, these new numbers look impressive on paper, it does not directly mean real world performance as these are internal factory tests that were undertaken under a controlled environment.
What these stress tests on UMI Plus device imply is a clear indication that it can achieve when put in a specific condition which does not equate to real world performance.
