Talks of the talent outfit producing a comeback album for the singer-actor has started circulating online since then.
Wu previously made headlines after he filed for the nullification of his contract with SM Entertainment. The long-standing feud finally came to an end this year with the presiding court deciding against his interest, announcing that his contract with the company is still valid until 2022, according to reports.
However, rumor has it that the idol-turned-actor has returned to South Korea with speculations stating that SM Entertainment has requested for his return. The report states that since his arrival, there have been talks that he would be collaborating with his former handler for an alleged comeback album.
Furthermore, SM Entertainment could reportedly be making preparations for Wu to return as a solo act. As to the issue, the 25-year-old singer-actor and SM Entertainment have yet to make their statement.
On the other hand, despite the speculations on a solo comeback under SM Entertainment, the former idol supposedly stated that he is just on vacation.
"I came to Korea on vacation with a friend," Wu allegedly stated when asked what he was doing in the country, according to a report on Koreaboo.
In addition, Wu's fans were reportedly surprised that he chose to come to Korea for a vacation, according to Movie News Guide. Though he stated that he is on vacation, many are still supposedly wondering as to what the singer-actor's real reason was for coming to Korea.
In related news, former EXO member Lu Han also previously made an appearance in Korea in January, according to Allkpop. His arrival also sparked talks on a comeback in the entertainment scene in Korea, but he, too, reportedly claimed that he is only on vacation.
