EXO member Lay has reportedly lost consciousness a few minutes before his flight was scheduled to take off from Incheon Airport, South Korea, causing fans to worry about their idol's health condition.
Lay, or known by his real name Zhang Yixing, unexpectedly collapsed on Tuesday (Oct. 11) as he was about to board his flight for Hokkaido, Japan, to perform at EXO's upcoming solo concert, Yibada reported.

Soompi reported that the singer was immediately brought to the hospital but has not regained consciousness upon his transfer. During the incident, Lay's fellow band members also decided to stay by the singer's side and miss their flight.
Few hours after, his agency SM Entertainment officially released a statement about the singer's condition, saying Lay fainted because of fatigue and lack of sleep.
"Lay momentarily fainted due to a lack of sleep," SM Entertainment said as quoted by Soompi. "According to the doctor, he will be fine after getting plenty of rest."
He has been sent to EXO's dormitory to get the rest he needed.
Lay is very determined to perform, but the decision will be made after it is confirmed that he is able to do so. "He has a strong intent on joining the concert, so we plan to make the final decision after checking his condition."
This was not the first time fans had to worry about Lay' health. Last year, the 25-year-old performer also fainted because of fatigue while he was shooting an episode of Chinese variety show Go Fighting.
iTech Post noted that SM Entertainment has the tendency to overwork their artists. Several performers from the agency have also reportedly lost consciousness during their live performances.
