The Canadian actress plays as Major Susan Turner in the film, who is the head of the military police unit Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise) used to manage. Facing accusations of a murder he allegedly committed 16 years ago, Reacher needs to uncover a major government conspiracy to clear his name.

"He's alone and he's sort of in his element and then he couples up with me and all hell breaks loose," Cobie told ET in June. "We're on the run for this entire movie."

Never Go Back is the sequel to the 2012 film Jack Reacher, which was also portrayed by the actor. The first Jack Reacher raked in about $220 million, earning nearly six times from its $60 million budget.

Meanwhile, Paramount Pictures earlier revealed that it has teamed up with China's Huahua Media and Shanghai Film Group. Both will join Paramount China as marketing partners for the film.

Cruise' latest action thriller Jack Reacher: Never Go Back is set for a simultaneous release in China and the United States on October 21.
