Apple Watch Nike+ to hit Market on October 28; Apple Confirms Countries, Stores

(Photo : YouTube) Apple has confirmed the release date date of the Apple Watch Nike+.

Earlier this week, tech giant Apple quietly updated its website to indicate that the Apple Watch Nike+ smart wearable device will officially go on sale on Oct. 28. Apple has confirmed the date and added some additional details about its new device.

The special edition Apple Watch Nike+ wouldl be available at Apple Stores and select Nike retail stores. Additionally, Apple said that the device will also be made available at a handful of department stores and specialty shops. Apple confirmed that the smart wearable device would be available in Macy's and DICK'S Sporting Goods, according to 9to5Mac. Apple is yet to confirm whether the limited edition Nike+ smartwatch will be available in other third-party outlets.

Apple confirmed that the Apple Watch Nike+ would be released in 41 countries on Friday. These countries are: the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Columbia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Turkey.

Apple added that eight more countries would be added to the list over the weekend. Bahrain, Greece, Oman, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia will get the Apple Watch Nike+ on Oct. 29. The device will be released in Israel on Oct. 30.

For existing Apple Watch users who are interested in getting the new Nike+ bands, Apple has a bad news as the company said that the band will be exclusively available for the special edition smartwatch and will not be sold separately.
