China's Consumers Association (CCA) has requested Apple Inc. to investigate complaints against its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s devices problem.
According to the submitted reports, the problem that CCA points out is the spontaneously shutting off of the devices despite having over 50 percent of battery power left, the Wall Street Journal noted. Other problems include the uncontrolled shutting off when in room temperature or colder environments and most of the Chinese users say that they were not able to turn their iPhones back on even with continuous battery charging.

“In view that Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s series cellphones in China have a considerable number of users, and the number of people who've reported this problem is rather many, China Consumer Association has already made a query with Apple,” the CCA said in a public statement on its official website.
CCA said it has already informed Apple about the issue and would continue to monitor it. However, the Cupertino-based tech giant has not released any statement regarding the matter yet.
Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s are not the first high-end smartphone models manufactured by popular tech firm to have issues in the Chinese market. South Korean tech giant Samsung, Apple’s biggest rival, is currently having problems too in China as it recalls Galaxy Note 7 in the country, Phone Arena reported.
In September, South Korean phone maker announced a worldwide recall of at least 2.5 million units of Note 7 smartphones because of faulty batteries that cause some fire problems.
Local smartphone manufacturer like Oppo, Vivo, Huawei, and Xiaomi continue to dominate the Chinese smartphone market.
