Gionee GN5005 Smartphone Spotted on TENAA Certification

An upcoming Gionee smartphone has been spotted by China's telecommunication equipment certification authority or commonly known as TENAA. The new device was dubbed as the Gionee GN5005 smartphone, which features a massive 3GB RAM and 4,000mAh capacity battery.

As per TENAA listing, the new Gionee GN50005 smartphone will sport a thin side-bezel design, with a physical home button, and a capacitive buttons on the lower bezel. The rear camera of the handset is placed on the top left corner on the back panel along with a single LED flash.
The Gionee GN5005 smartphone will feature a 5-inch TFT display with HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels). Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by an unknown quad-core processor clocked at a speed of 1.25GHz, but it is expected to be of a MediaTek or Snapdragon make. As mentioned earlier, the phone comes with a 3GB of RAM onboard and 16GB of internal memory storage, which will be expandable up to 128GB via a microSD slot.
The upcoming Gionee GN5005 smartphone will be featuring an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. The phone will be running on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box, which is coupled with Gionee's latest Amigo user interface running on top. It is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery inside.
Connectivity options of the smartphone include VoLTE, 4G, Wi-Fi, dual SIM, GPS, Bluetooth, and microUSB 2.0. The device measures a body dimension of 144.3 x 70.5 x 8.6mm and weighs around 140 grams. The phone will be available in a gold color variant.
