Gionee M2017 Smartphone Spotted on TENAA with 6GB RAM and 7000mAh Battery

An upcoming Gionee smartphone has been spotted by China's telecommunication equipment certification authority or commonly known as TENAA. The latest device was dubbed as the Gionee M2017, which features a gigantic 6GB RAM and 7000mAh capacity battery.
As per TENAA listing, the upcoming Gionee M2017 smartphone features a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 × 1440 pixels) AMOLED display screen. Under the hood, the device is powered by an unknown octa-core processor clocked at speed of 1.98GHz. It comes equipped with 6GB of RAM onboard and a built-in 128GB of internal memory storage. No information was revealed whether this upcoming device is expandable via a microSD card slot.

The listing also revealed that the Gionee M2017 comes with a dual rear camera setup with dual lead flash, one which has a 13-megapixel resolution and the second one that has 12-megapixel resolution. On its front is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The handset runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. As mentioned earlier, the device is backed up by a whopping 7000mAh battery inside.
Other features the smartphone offers include 4G LTE Network with VoLTE support, Bluetooth, WiFi, MicroUSB port, and GPS. The handset measures body dimension of 155.2 × 77.6 × 10.65 mm and weighs around 230 grams. The upcoming device is listed in black color on the website.
Moreover, rumors suggest that the upcoming smartphone is expected to be powered by MediaTek's Helio P10 processor. It is also said to house a fingerprint scanner, which will be embedded in its home button.
