Chelsea is reportedly targeting Real Madrid midfielder Isco when the winter transfer window opens in January and fellow English Premier League clubs Arsenal and Manchester City are rumored to be ready to rival the Stamford Bridge giants.

The Blues are currently on top of the English top-flight table with an eight-game winning streak still ongoing. Still, head coach Antonio Conte is said to be planning to improve his roster in midseason to "maintain their momentum" and complete their goal of bringing back the title to Chelsea, as per Caught Offside.

Conte is reportedly keen on fortifying his team's midfield and one of his top targets in January is rumored to be the 24-year-old Isco.

The Spain international is considered as one of the finest midfielders in La Liga, but he is not being given enough first-team opportunities in Real Madrid mainly because of the capital city squad's deep midfield rotation composed of other football stars such as Toni Kroos, James Rodriguez, Casemiro, Luka Modric, Marco Asensio, and Mateo Kovacic.

Isco was acquired by Los Blancos from fellow La Liga squad Malaga in the summer of 2013 for a transfer fee of $31 million and rumors are out that Real could sell him for the same amount soon.

He has scored 24 goals in 164 appearances in all competitions so far for Real as he is currently playing in his fourth season with the club.

Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester City are all interested in bidding for Isco and the player is said to be set to weigh his future in Madrid this January because he has not been able to "hold down a regular spot in the starting 11", according to The Sun.

A local Spanish tabloid said to have reported that Isco had already informed Real head coach Zinedine Zidane of his uncertain future at the Bernabéu because three Premier League clubs have already sent their offers to his way.

Isco reportedly admitted that Chelsea, Arsenal, and City "have already contacted" Paco Alarcon, his father, and are preparing to submit their own bids to Madrid as soon as the winter window opens.
