Rumors have emerged that the Washington Wizards are planning to deal disgruntled point guard John Wall to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a package that includes Ricky Rubio and Kris Dunn.
The NBA trade season is drawing near as the league's restriction to trade newly-signed free agents is set to be lifted on Thursday and speculations abound of an impending deal between the Wizards and Wolves involving some of their key players.

Washington has been mentioned in recent rumors as team leader and former top draft pick Wall is said to be "unhappy" right now and is at odds with shooting guard Bradley Beal.
The rumors began in July after the Wizards signed Beal to a five-year, $127 million contract that made him the new highest-paid player in the team. Reports began coming out that Wall is not happy about it and that he is not getting along with Beal on the court as well.
The result has been evident in the first quarter of the new season as the Wizards are currently struggling at 11th place in the East with a 9-13 record, two games behind the eighth spot presently occupied by the Atlanta Hawks.
HNGN indicated that there is "a buzz that Wall is losing patience with the current situation" and could ask to be traded soon.
A report by Fansided suggested that the Wizards should just tank this season and trade Wall to do a complete rebuild, building the roster around Beal.
Meanwhile, there is also a situation happening in Minnesota but it involves Wolves head coach and team president Tom Thibodeau, who is reportedly unsatisfied about the attitude and heart of his young players.
There were also reports saying that Thibodeau is prepared to trade one of his young players for a veteran who has previously worked with him before. However, it looks like the coach is just ready to trade his young core for the best available talents in the market right now.
HNGN said that the Wolves could send Rubio, Dunn, Gorgui Dieng and two future first-round draft picks to the Wizards to get Wall, but other rumors suggest that Washington wants to have Anthony Wiggins rather than Dunn and Dieng.
